Hello. I'm Lewis Monroe, and I have a boring life. Most of what I do during my free time is wallow in self pity, because my life is boring. I have 2 kids, a boy and girl. My wife died when my daughter was three years old. My boy, Jared, lives in another town due to his leaving as soon as he turned 18 because he was tired of having such a boring life. I am a stay-at-home dad, and the government pays me because of my excellent amount of service during the war. That's the reason I make my life so boring. I learned during the war that excitement hurts you and scars you for life. My daughter, Anna, likes the boring life. It gives her time to finish her schoolwork and get good grades. Her life is straightforward and easy, if boring. And she likes it that way. My children don't know that I have a secret: when they are at school, I go to the local smoothie shop and play the guitar for entertainment. I don't get paid; I do it for fun. I hide it from my children so they don't get any exciting ideas, because really, I'm only trying to protect them.
